Terms of Use

Last updated: May 27, 2026

Welcome to ThriftPilot. These Terms of Use apply to your use of the ThriftPilot mobile app and related services. By using ThriftPilot, you agree to these terms.

1. What ThriftPilot Does

ThriftPilot is a resale and thrift profit tracker. It helps users log items they buy to resell, record buy and list prices, track listing status, and see potential and realized profit.

ThriftPilot is intended as a tracking and planning tool. You are responsible for your own pricing decisions, sales records, taxes, and compliance with the rules of any marketplace you sell on.

2. No Account Required

ThriftPilot does not require you to create an account. Your items, prices, photos, notes, and settings are stored locally on your device unless a future version clearly states otherwise.

3. Purchases

ThriftPilot may offer a one-time Full Access purchase. Full Access unlocks additional features such as unlimited items, advanced profit insights, sharing, and export features.

Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. Payment, refunds, billing issues, and purchase management are subject to Apple's terms and policies.

4. No Subscription

ThriftPilot Full Access is planned as a one-time purchase. It is not a weekly, monthly, or yearly subscription.

5. Restore Purchases

If you reinstall the app or move to a new device using the same Apple ID, you can use Restore Purchases inside the app to attempt to restore your Full Access purchase.

6. Estimates, Not Financial Advice

ThriftPilot calculates profit figures from the prices you enter. These are estimates to help you track your reselling. ThriftPilot does not provide financial, tax, or investment advice, and we do not guarantee any resale outcome or amount of profit.

7. No Liability for Resale Outcomes

ThriftPilot is a tracking aid only. We are not responsible for unsold inventory, lost income, pricing mistakes, marketplace fees, tax obligations, or other damages caused by relying only on the app.

8. User Data

You are responsible for the information you enter into ThriftPilot. Do not enter sensitive information unless you are comfortable storing it on your device.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer it, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes.

10. Changes to the App

We may update, change, add, or remove features at any time. We may also change pricing for future users. Existing purchases will be handled according to Apple's App Store rules and applicable law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new "Last updated" date.
