ThriftPilot

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ThriftPilot handles information when you use the ThriftPilot mobile app.

ThriftPilot is designed to be a simple resale and thrift profit tracker with no account requirement, no ads, and no unnecessary tracking.

1. Information We Collect

ThriftPilot does not require you to create an account.

The app may store the items you add — titles, categories, buy prices, list prices, listing status, dates, photos you attach, notes, your reseller profile answers, app preferences, and purchase unlock status — locally on your device.

2. Information Stored Locally

Your inventory and profit data is stored locally on your device. ThriftPilot does not operate its own backend server for storing your items, prices, photos, or notes.

If you delete the app, your locally stored data may be deleted from your device.

3. Purchases

ThriftPilot may offer a one-time Full Access purchase. Purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not receive or store your credit card number, bank details, or Apple ID password.

ThriftPilot may use RevenueCat to manage purchase status, restore purchases, and check whether Full Access is unlocked. RevenueCat may process purchase-related information such as App Store transaction identifiers, product ID, purchase status, entitlement status, and device or app instance identifiers needed to manage purchases.

4. Photos

ThriftPilot may let you attach photos to your items using your camera or photo library. These photos are stored locally with your item data. ThriftPilot does not upload your photos to a server.

5. No Account

ThriftPilot does not require a user account. We do not ask for your name, email address, password, or profile information inside the app unless you contact support separately.

6. No Advertising

ThriftPilot does not show third-party ads and does not sell your personal information.

7. No Analytics in V1

ThriftPilot is planned to launch without third-party analytics. If analytics are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or when that change happens.

8. Export and Sharing

ThriftPilot may allow you to export or share your items or profit summaries as text, image, or file. When you use sharing or export features, you choose what information to share and where to send it.

9. Support Emails

If you contact us for support, we may receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message. We use this information only to respond to your request.

10. Children's Privacy

ThriftPilot is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Data Security

ThriftPilot is designed to keep your data on your device. However, no app, device, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. Data Deletion

Because ThriftPilot stores your data locally, you can delete your app data by deleting the app from your device.

13. Third-Party Services

ThriftPilot may rely on the Apple App Store for purchases and app distribution, and RevenueCat for purchase management and entitlement verification.

14. International Users

If you use ThriftPilot outside your country of residence, your purchase-related information may be processed by Apple, RevenueCat, or their service providers in other countries.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make important changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
